Rainy Day in Michigan

We are just getting started with blogging after being invited to share our son Kirk and his family's blog.

We are near the end of our yearly summer visit with our kids in Michigan. I have been here since July 7, helping Kirk and Kathryn get ready for their big move to China. They leave on July 25. We have done a lot of fun stuff this summer, making the most of our time together. I have spent a lot of time with Lizzy and Alex, hoping that will get me through til Christmas when they will be back in the states for the holidays.

Today we are in Macomb taking care of Ethan while Kevin and Chrystal (especially Chrystal!) enjoy a weekend in Kalamazoo, where they both went to college. Ethan is a little under the weather today, so our plans to meet our friends, Ron and Linda Kraynek for mass at Resurrection Parish in Canton (our old home town) and Fall Festival in Plymouth, may have to be cancelled.
